The equipment we use for our Video. - Filmworks
(845) 597-4804 filmworks109@gmail.com

At Filmworks 109 we use the best video production equipment that we can find to be able to get the job done and provide our clients with the best quality products. We use a variety of cameras and other systems that give us the ability to be more creative without limiting ourselves in any way.

Camera equipment:

Sony-FS7-For-Video

Sony Fs7: This camera is great. We use it on all of our current commercial work and we can’t live without it. This camera does a lot whether it be with its flexibility in all types of lighting conditions or the ability for us to plug our audio directly into it. The Sony FS7 has been the best purchase we’ve made in a while and it shoots in 4k too!

Canon-6D-For-Video

Canon 6D: These versatile cameras have done a lot for us. We’re able to capture a lot of great imagery with them. They are especially great for when we are shooting real estate video. Not only are they nice and compact but when you add on great lenses you can get some amazing shots.

Stabilizing our video:

DJI-Ronin-Video-StabalizerNothing says a great video like one that’s been shot and isn’t shaky. If you’ve ever seen a shaky video then you know how it can effect the quality. That’s why we have a couple great pieces of equipment to get the job done.

The DJI Ronin is a great hand held stabilizer that we use that allows us to stabilize our video. It also lets us stay mobile. We also have a stedicam vest system that we can attach the DJI Ronin to so that we can go on extended shoots.

Portajib-For-Video

Aside from the Ronin we also have a portaJib. A portajib is a stabilizer that gives you some more flexibility since you can get some extra height than when you’re holding a camera. The portajib looks like a small crane system and that’s exactly what it does. It allows you to raise and lower your camera to all sorts of extents. You can also set it up on wheels or on track systems if you want to have some extra movement.

Aerial equipment:

phantom-3-pro-for-aerial-videoUsing a camera that flies has allowed us to take video to the next level. The DJI Phantom 3 Professional allows us to get those great shots you’re always asking us about. It allows us to get a birds eye view with a 4k video camera that’s built right in.

With the DJI Phantom we’ve been able to get great aerial shots but that’s not all. We’ve also been able to take it into some bigger locations and get some stead video movements. It gives us an extra edge that a hand held camera can’t do.

Editing our Video:

ogAt Filmworks 109 we use the latest technology for video editing. We use current iMac computers. The iMacs are great because they have 5k monitors built in. This is great for looking at all the high resolution videos we work on.

It also has the right amount of power so we aren’t worrying about being slowed down. Especially when it’s time to crunch and get work out to our clients.

For editing programs we use the Adobe Creative Suite which does a The reason we chose to work with Adobe with our editing suite was because of the flexibility it has.

The End

All and all our team uses a lot of different equipment to get the job done.  We hope that this blog post gives you an insight into all the different things we have. We also hope it gives you more information on all the different things that go into some production jobs or what our capabilities are.

For future updates please check out our Facebook page and our Instagram. Both of these places we post to on a regular basis to keep you all up to date on our activities and what we’re working on.

Until the next time.
